Second class children enjoyed a fantastic day out at Greenan Maze and Farm, Co Wicklow, for their end of term school tour. On arrival, we had a snack and then set off in two groups around the farm. The tour guides were wonderful and kept us all busy with lots of exciting activities.
There was a nature trail, we fed some animals and saw the newborn piglets and lambs, we visited the farm museum to learn about farm life long ago, had fun finding our way through a maze and ran wheelbarrow races. We also enjoyed eating lunch together on picnic benches and got to enjoy the on site playground too. What a brilliant school tour!!!
