It’s been a long tradition in Taney for the 6th class girls to take on the 6th class boys after the hockey season finishes and this year was no different. On a fabulous sunny afternoon in Three Rock Rovers, the 6th class girls As played against the 6th class boys As and the girls edged it! Meanwhile on the other half of the pitch the 6th class boys Bs played against the 6th class girls Bs and the girls edged it too!
Afterwards, Mr Ross’s class took on Ms Gallagher’s class and it ended in a 1-1 draw! It was a great way to finish off their hockey in Taney and we hope they all keep it up as they go on to secondary school.
