Boys hockey finished up for the year with a sun soaked hockey tournament. With the 6th class boys captaining our teams and 78 players from 2nd class upwards involved, the red team on the back pitch won out on the day!
Boys’ hockey grew in numbers this year with all our boys training hard and getting better every week. We hope everyone enjoyed learning new skills and having fun with their friends.
Our 5th class team entered the 6th class B league this year, and with 3 wins, 1 draw and a narrow loss they just missed out on a final place. All the boys grew in confidence and skill throughout an exciting season.
Our 6th class boys were entered into both the 6th class A league and the U13B league.
It was a mixed bag of results but as they grew into the season they had some amazing results against St Andrews 1st years (winning 6-1) and The High School (winning 3-1).
Special thanks to all our coaches for their dedication to training our youngsters every week.
