On Tuesday 5th March two teams of Taney Senior Boys participated in the FAI 5-a-side at Wayside Celtic. The weather was cold and damp but this didn't affect the spirits of the boys who played in some very fast paced games, ably managed by Ken Clack and Ger Feeney, our fantastic coaches. We had some great support from parents as well and it was super to see the boys playing and enjoying themselves so much!
Despite their valiant efforts we were knocked out of the competition but the boys did their school and parents proud with their attitude and behaviour. Thanks to all the parents who brought their children and supported them on the day.
