2nd class have been taking part in a Designathon workshop centered around water and the problems with water: too much water (flooding), too little water(droughts), endangered habitats, water pollution. The children chose one of the problems and created their own idea/invention about how to solve the problem.
The children then came together in groups and used their ideas to create one idea as a group. They planned it and decided what they needed to make it from recycled materials. They then presented their idea to the class and to Ms. Dolan & Mr. Edgar! Here are the finished projects.
