Our new Junior Infants have been really busy since starting school. We have been working very hard on improving our gross and fine motor skills. We do exercises every morning and are getting really strong before we start writing.
The theme this month was houses and homes. We had great fun constructing houses from blocks and Duplo. We tried to make a house of straw, sticks and bricks, just like the three little pigs. Mrs. Duffy pretended to be the big bad wolf and used her hairdryer to try to blow the houses down! We also tried to do a few jobs around the house - we did some washing up, ironing, bathing the baby and setting the table. We should be experts for helping out at home!!!
We have been getting to know our 6th class buddies who recently helped us with Bee-Bots and some autumn time activities. We all love spending time with them!
